With so much of our daily lives now revolving around digital and online activities, access to reliable technology is more important than ever. Whether you’re a student striving in school, a parent managing a household, someone looking for a job, or simply wanting to stay connected, having a computer at home is essential for learning, working, and thriving. However, we understand that it can be expensive to buy brand-new devices.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Renewed Computer Technology (RCT) to offer affordable, renewed computers. Through this partnership, we want to close digital gaps within our community and to support you in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
RCT is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that empowers learners, educators and nonprofits with increased access to information and communications technology (ICT), skill development and learning opportunities.
They are offering:
1. Desktop Packages from $85.00
A desktop complete with Windows 10 and MS Office 2019 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote plus Windows Defender, monitor, keyboard and mouse
Additional $35 for delivery, or you can pick up devices from RCT’s Mississauga location.
2. Laptop Packages from $225.00
A laptop complete with Windows 10 and MS Office 2019 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote plus Windows Defender. Average size for laptops is 15".
Additional $25 for delivery, or you can pick up devices from RCT’s Mississauga location.
To qualify for this program, you must be a:

Have limited income
*Parents or legal guardians may apply on behalf of a child or youth under the age of 18.
*We offer 1 computer per person, with a limit of 2 per household per year.
*All systems include a 1-YEAR DEPOT WARRANTY (batteries not covered by warranty)
